Come take part in the first annual East Tennessee Polar Plunge at Cherokee Lake in Jefferson City, TN!

Join hundreds of courageous folks and jump into the chilly waters at 12:00 noon on New Year's Day, January 1, 2019. Not only will it be for a good cause, but its great way for the entire family to start off 2019!

When you register you will receive a souvenir 2019 East TN Polar Plunge long-sleeve T-shirt!  Make sure to register early to guarantee yours! Register in advance and receive $5 off the registration price!   For every participant that registers and brings a Buddy, they will receive half off the registration price!  So bring your friends, family and neighbors out for this great cause!

Parade of Penguins Costume Contest!

Don your zaniest, funniest and most creative costumes for our Parade of Penguins Costume Contest and Parade. Register for the plunge and be automatically entered into our Parade of Penguins Costume Contest! When you register you can either enter as an individual or as a group. The top winner in the individual category will win a brand new kayak from the Jefferson City Walmart! The costume contest will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m., and the winners will be announced right before the Polar Plunge!  Our panel of honorary Judges includes Mayors from around the region including, Knox  County Mayor, Glenn Jacobs, Jefferson County Mayor, Mark Potts, Jefferson City Mayor, Mitch Cain, Hamblen County Mayor, Bill Brittain, Grainger County Mayor, Mike Byrd, Mayor of Bean Station, Terry D. Wolfe and New Market City Mayor, Beau Tucker!
